CANBERRA CAMP!!!!

camberra.jpgHi im Mat, and us grade sixes are going on a camp to Canberra. There is two different camps. Camp one, and camp two. We get to go to the Telstra Tower, parlement house, war memorial,Mount Ainslie . We stay in Canberra for three nights and four days. When we go to the Telstra Tower they say you can see the whole of Canberra. In the Parlement house we get to go into the green room, house of reps thats all I know about the Parlement house. The War Memorial is the most sadest part of the trip. At the Memorial there is names of the people who went to war and fort for the Australians. Next to the names there is red Popies in Memory of where they fort.Mount Ainslie is a mountain where you can see The war Memorial, the Lake, Old parlement house and New Parlement house in one single line thrue Canberra. Canberra is a city that was planed out to make it neat and tidy. People say it looks cool.THE END.  

Olyroos in the Olympics

tim-cahill.jpgTIM CAHILL SORES                                                                                             On the 9Th of August 2008 the Olyroos played there first match in the Olympics. Heaps of people where there,I wish I was there my self. Anyway the Olyroos got to choose three people from the socceroos, and they chose Harry Kewell, Archy Thomson and David Carney. There first match was against Serbia, There second was against Argentina and there third was against Ivory cost. Unfortunately they didn’t make the semifinals and they didn’t make it to the quarterfinal’s. Circus Splendida

On the 11th of June cast 1 for Circus Splendida preformed an act for our town. There was clowns, jugglers, tumblers, dancers, mimes, acrobats, scooters, hooler hoopers, Lola’s, riggers and band people. I thought the clowns were really funny. The Lola act was amazing. But I thought we the scooter riders were great because I liked how Aiden knocked the Ring master over/Jacob over and his hat fell off. My role was scooter rider 3. My lines were, Best in the business and, they are state of the art. Our act went well but I admit the singing was a bit bad, but apart from that our act was great.           

My Holiday

On the Holidays I went to Dandenong to se my Cousins for a week. Dandenong is a suburb of Melbourne. We went over the West gate bridge to get there. When we got there it was about 5:30 pm. We had Tea and went down the creek. At 9:00 pm we Came up to the house to watch Terminator 2. In the morning we had an Easter egg hunt. I found 51 little eggs’5 mediam size eggs and 1 big egg. In the end I had to give most of my eggs away.

MAT’S GOALS

My personal goal is to kick at least five goals in this soccer season.  

Step1. Try out for soccer .

Step2. Try to become a striker.

 Step3. Train four times a week.               

My school goal is to Pass up to 11x in the times tables test.

 Step1. Practise at home.

Step2.Do one set of tables each week.

 Step3. when you are up to 11x start again.
